Hours of Operation Monday through Friday
Patients are seen by appointment only. When calling to make a return appointment, the patient is requested to call between the hours of 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The patient should call approximately 4-5 weeks before the appointment is needed or immediately upon discharge from the hospital. The office also has an electrodiagnostic laboratory in which tests are performed by our neurologists and qualified technicians. The laboratory is by appointment only and is available for any doctor who wants these tests conducted. On occasion, emergencies can cause problems and whenever possible, you will be fully informed if we have to change your appointment date. Missed Appointments and Cancellations If you miss your appointment or fail to give at least 24 hours notice of cancellations, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment. Because we have reserved this time for you, other patients who are on our waiting list cannot take advantage of your appointment unless you give us adequate notice. The 24 hour answering service may be used to cancel appointments. Business Hours Telephone Calls In order to give you the most efficient service when you call the office, we have a voice response system in place that will forward you to the proper department. Please listen carefully to all of the prompts. All patients are encouraged to call with any questions they have on medical problems. However, it is not possible for the doctor to leave his patients to answer every call. The office staff has been trained to answer many of your questions, or relay your information to the doctor. Your call will be returned or answered at the earliest opportunity. After Hours Telephone Calls If you find it necessary to contact the doctor after normal office hours, the office number is also a 24 hour, 7 day a week answering service that will forward all messages to your doctor or the doctor on call. This does not include medication refills, which should be obtained at your office visit or during normal business hours. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please go to the emergency room closest to you.
